Menstruating women in Nepal are considered impure and polluting during their periods. To combat the stigma surrounding menstruation and provide access to eco-friendly menstrual products, Sparsa was established. The facility is equipped with rooms for fiber mattress storage, and office spaces. Additionally, a dedicated solar panel has been installed for power backup.
